Norton is very good, as is Kapersky.

Most people seem to like AVG as a free anti-virus solution, but it all comes down to what you want in the end.

Popular doesn't mean good. Norton is 'popular' because stores force-sell it to unsuspecting customers.

I've removed Norton from many customers computers because it slowed them down to a crawl.... It's very badly written with lots of 'pop-ups' and fancy graphics.

NOD32 is *THE* best virus checker.

Spybot is the best spyware remover (and it's free)

for me Norton is the best anti virus, i am using Norton anti virus for 7 years and it never fails. much better if you will use the older version of Norton, because it will not affect the speed of your PC
